They're perfomring maintenance, says so on the log in screen although I'd take 15 minutes with a pinch of salt, prob be more like an hour.

I fully understand site maintenance and to be fair it doesn’t happen that often.

I just wish they could be more accurate on their time assessment or at least update the message if they have problems.

Same here, can load chars all but my monk, (who was on when it initially went down).

Didn't realise you could get in with other characters. Was trying to get in with my ele (female ele) who I just started and am trying to get to LA in time for nightfall. Want that sunspear armour

Kept getting error 40s but my warrior has no problem. Weird.

Same for me. What's going on is any character located in GH cannot log on (error code=40). Any character in a town or outpost can log on with no trouble. For me that is just one chartacter presently, and unfortunately the one that doesnt need play time right now.

Also, I recommend not trying to go to GH for the time being with a character that can log on. I got my necro in there, only to be botted off. When I tried to log right back on, she was in there and I cannot log on with her anymore. :\

seems some area, were under maintenance, i was doing some missions wih a char when i enter bergens and logged out, i cant log anymore.... i guess ill just wait for a while..

it ticks me off that anet cannot be more proactive and make a note to their subscribers that the maintenance will take longer than their published 15 mins. its already what, nearly 3 hours?

yeah....im sure most share your opinion,i wouldn't mind this much if they said it will take 3 or more hrs as long as they informed us....

I can't get onto my Warrior/Monk at all, and my Mesmer/Necromancer has to stay in the Frost Gate area or else i'll get the same message.

I hope they finish the maintennance soon.

Is anyone else still getting error40? I see the maintenance message is no longer up on the main login screen but I am still getting error 40.
